President Trump is calling the governors “weak” for their handling of the riots.
I guess this is a step in the right direction, but it is hardly getting to the heart of the matter.
These governors are not simply “weak” – they are active co-conspirators with Antifa and the black looters. They are deliberately ordering cops to leave the areas with the riots. This is not “weakness” – it is an active measure to assist the creation of anarchy.
If these governors had simply done nothing at all, the cops would naturally be ending the riots using the tried and true methods of throwing around a bit of tear gas.
AP:
Trump spoke to governors on a video teleconference with law enforcement and national security officials, telling the local leaders they “have to get much tougher” amid nationwide protests and criticizing their responses.
“Most of you are weak,” Trump said. “You have to arrest people.”
…
The president urged the governors to deploy the National Guard, which he credited for helping calm the situation Sunday night in Minneapolis. He demanded that similarly tough measures be taken in cities that also experienced a spasm of violence, like New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles.
“You’ve got to arrest people, you have to track people, you have to put them in jail for 10 years and you’ll never see this stuff again,” said Trump. “We’re doing it in Washington, D.C. We’re going to do something that people haven’t seen before.”
Well, they’re doing something in Washington. They were able to completely clear out the entire city within an hour.
But it’s not something we haven’t all seen before. It’s just the standard method for ending a riot: you use tear gas. If there is tear gas, everyone has to leave, because it makes you sick. You can’t riot when there is tear gas unless you have goggles and a gas mask, which none of these blacks have.
The National Guard is also not necessary. The cops all have tear gas.
The president told the governors they were making themselves “look like fools” for not calling up more of the National Guard as a show for force on city streets.
Attorney General Bill Barr, who was also on the call, told governors that a joint terrorist task force would be used to track the agitators and urged local officials to “dominate” the streets and control, not react to crowds, and urged them to “go after troublemakers.”
…
As cities burned night after night and images of violence dominated television coverage, Trump’s advisers discussed the prospect of an Oval Office address in an attempt to ease tensions. The notion was quickly scrapped for lack of policy proposals and the president’s own seeming disinterest in delivering a message of unity.
Trump did not appear in public on Sunday and was not scheduled to so Monday either.
This is idiotic.
All the supporters of the president, myself included, want him out there doing something. Instead he’s hiding in a bunker and whining.
He could just openly accuse these governors of being part of a conspiracy. Everyone can see it happening. There is no “conspiracy theory.” It is a conspiracy observation. They are openly enabling these rioters and they are doing it on purpose, to create chaos.
I keep thinking of this passage from the Conan story “The Scarlet Citadel“:
The streets of Tamar swarmed with howling mobs, shaking fists and rusty pikes. It was the hour before dawn of the second day after the battle of Shamu, and events had occurred so swiftly as to daze the mind. By means known only to Tsotha-lanti, word had reached Tamar of the king’s death, within half a dozen hours after the battle. Chaos had resulted. The barons had deserted the royal capital, galloping away to secure their castles against marauding neighbors. The well-knit kingdom Conan had built up seemed tottering on the edge of dissolution, and commoners and merchants trembled at the imminence of a return of the feudalistic regime. The people howled for a king to protect them against their own aristocracy no less than foreign foes. Count Trocero, left by Conan in charge of the city, tried to reassure them, but in their unreasoning terror they remembered old civil wars, and how this same count had besieged Tamar fifteen years before. It was shouted in the streets that Trocero had betrayed the king; that he planned to plunder the city. The mercenaries began looting the quarters, dragging forth screaming merchants and terrified women.
Trocero swept down on the looters, littered the streets with their corpses, drove them back into their quarter in confusion, and arrested their leaders. Still the people rushed wildly about, with brainless squawks, screaming that the count had incited the riot for his own purposes.
In fact, I keep thinking about that entire story. It’s not even one of the better ones.
It did inspire a great Frank Frazetta painting, however.
Trump needs to get it together, because unlike King Conan, he hasn’t been locked in an eldritch dungeon by Tsotha-lanti.
He needs to get on Twitter and hit up my man Black Aziz Anansi and get to the bottom of this conspiracy.
The good ol’ pile of bricks left for your convenience trick. https://t.co/5BiBEhzPQ4

When you sit at your dinner table tonight and talk about how you wish those people would stop causing chaos, educate yourself as to who they are. Hearing MANY stories + seeing TONS of video like these below. The one with the bricks on the street is particularly interesting. https://t.co/1frYWKJe51

My heart hurts watching this. I don't know what their motive is or who organized these white people to come out, but they don't care about us. That one woman is about to burst into tears and they won't even look at her… pic.twitter.com/35Hz5ldAaC

Whoever these whites are, they’re driving around in cars passing out bricks to the blacks.

Clearly, these are undercover cops and they are Antifa, which are run by the FBI.
The governors are working with these law enforcement officers to create total mayhem.
We know all of this is happening. It is all documented, fully.
All Trump has to do is say that it’s happening and tell people to visit Black Aziz Anansi’s Twitter account and see these proofs for themselves.
But hey – at least he’s figured out it isn’t white supremests.
“I don’t see any indication that there were any white supremest groups mixing in. This is an ANTIFA Organization. It seems that the first time we saw it in a major way was Occupy Wall Street. It’s the same mindset.” @kilmeade @foxandfriends TRUE!

And that someone is paying these people to riot.
“These were the people that trashed Seattle years ago. Who’s paying for these people. I was appalled that 13 of Joe Biden’s staff were donating money to bail people out in Minneapolis. They should have stayed in jail until this is over (and beyond).” @newtgingrich @foxandfriends

We’re perhaps getting closer.
