Tucker Carlson revealed Wednesday that the NSA is not just spying on him – it actually leaked his emails to reporters.
He said that there was nothing scandalous in the emails, but that he had tried to set up an interview with Vladimir Putin.
A whistleblower had told him that he was being watched, and that the NSA planned to leak these emails to encourage the media to continue to accuse Tucker of being a Russian agent.
“Yesterday I learned, that — and this is going to come out soon — that NSA leaked the contents of my e-mail to journalists in an effort to discredit me,” Carlson said. “I know this because I got a call from one saying ‘oh, this is what your e-mail was about.’”
“So, it is not in any way a figment of my imagination,” he continued. “It’s confirmed, it’s true. They are not allowed to spy on American citizens — they are — and I think more ominously they are using information they gather to put leverage to threaten opposition journalists, people who criticize Biden administration happening to me right now, I think shocking I don’t think we should put up with it in a free country.”
Tucker called on Congressional Republicans to do something. It’s really rhetorical. Congressional Republicans, excluding Paul Gosar and (to a lesser extent) Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene, will not ever even say anything, let alone do anything.
This country is absolutely lawless.
