The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has warned the coronavirus pandemic is “unleashing a human development crisis,” with declines in fundamental areas of living standards expected to be felt across most countries, rich and poor, in every region.
The report, published on Wednesday, estimates that global human development — which is a combined measure of the world’s education, health and living standards — is on pace to decline for the first time since the concept was developed in 1990.
In some areas, the UNDP said conditions today were equivalent to levels of deprivation last seen in the mid-1980s.
“For vast swathes of the globe, the pandemic will leave deep, deep scars,” Achim Steiner, the UNDP’s administrator, said in the report.
“Without support from the international community, we risk a massive reversal of gains made over the last two decades, and an entire generation lost, if not in lives then in rights, opportunities and dignity,” he added.
To date, more than 5 million people have contracted the coronavirus worldwide, with 328,368 deaths, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
That death toll is obviously fake, but even if it were real, it is still nothing compared to any normal season of the flu.
According to the World Health Organization, in an article from 2017 that I suspect they’ll delete from their site soon enough, up to 650,000 people die every year from the flu.
I hate to keep saying this over and over again, but wow – it’s just incredible how dishonest the media is.
I don’t know if this is a “pandemic.” If it is, then every single year we have a flu pandemic that is much worse than this pandemic. What I do know is that none of these problems were caused by a pandemic, they were caused by the governments of Western countries responding to a mild respiratory virus by locking everyone in their houses and collapsing the economy.
But I digress.
On my list of concerns, the education and living standards of third worlders is very low. However, it is notable that this hoax is impacting the entire world, given that all economies are tied to Western economies.
What is even more notable is that this is going to be a major incentive for third world nations to align themselves closer to China, given that China didn’t do the lockdown nonsense, and is thus going to remain as economically stable as they can manage to be while unraveling their economic connections to the West.
What we are looking at is a monumental shift of the power center of the world from the US to China in a way that is so fast it will make your head spin. The extremely concerning thing about this is that this entire thing was planned, and I do not think the cabal of satanists that run the US government and economy would purposefully give total control of the world over to the Chinese. What this seems to indicate is that part of this plan is a war with China, something which would also serve to pull the West up out of this economic collapse it’s implemented.
One reason that I am extremely critical of the “right-wing” and Republican media blaming China for this virus is that this appears to be atrocity propaganda of the sort that precedes a major war. China probably didn’t create this virus, and even if they did, it’s not a big deal since the virus is so harmless. All of the problems being attributed to the virus are in fact the fault of the US government for doing this lockdown and martial law insanity, and they are the ones that should be blamed for it.
The last thing we need is another world war over nothing.
