Hohols Attack Russian Nuclear Power Plant

This isn’t really big news. It happens all the time.

It will be big news when they finally cause a meltdown though. And they might do that and blame Russia.

They are really getting desperate, these Hohols.

Ukraine struck the dome above a shutdown reactor at the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia nuclear station on Sunday, though radiation levels were normal and there was no serious damage, the plant’s Russian-installed administration said.

It was not immediately clear what weapon was used against the nuclear plant, which was taken by Russian forces shortly after their full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The plant said earlier it had been attacked by Ukrainian drones.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which has experts at the site, said it had been informed by the Russian-run plant that a drone had detonated at the site and the information was “consistent” with IAEA observations.

The plant remains close to the front lines, and both Ukraine and Russia have repeatedly accused the other of attacking the plant and so risking a possible nuclear disaster.

Russia has controlled the plant since basically the beginning of the war. For more than two years. The Ukraine attacks and then says “Russia is attacking their own nuclear power plant for some reason!” It’s not serious. No one serious thinks Russia is doing that. The media just reports this like “well, the Ukrainians say they’re doing it to themselves, so…”

Anyway, yeah, this was a big story for a while like a year ago, when the Ukraine kept shelling the plant and a lot of people thought they were going to try to cause a reactor meltdown and then the entire media would say “Russia did this for some reason! It’s nuclear terror!” That still could happen.
