How is it possible that the supposedly Christian political party tolerates this?
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) took aim at former President Donald Trump when asked about his reaction to the House Jan. 6 panel’s criminal referral of the former president to the Justice Department on Monday.
“The entire nation knows who is responsible for that day. Beyond that, I don’t have any immediate observations,” McConnell told reporters when asked about the House select committee’s findings.
Insofar as anything happened on that day, FBI agitators and the Capitol Hill Police were responsible for it.
The entire nation might not know that, but all of Mitch McConnell’s voters know that.
How is it possible that this is a “representative democracy” when the views of the representative are not even remotely similar to those they supposedly represent?
The committee, led by Reps. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) and Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), recommended to the DOJ that Trump, 76, be charged with inciting or assisting an insurrection, obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to make false statements to investigators, and conspiracy to defraud the US government.
The panel had said it uncovered evidence Trump pushed claims he knew were false about the 2020 presidential election in an effort to change the election’s outcome.
McConnell had previously laid blame on Trump for Jan. 6 on the Senate floor in February 2021, after the former president was acquitted of inciting an insurrection at his impeachment trial.
If McConnell didn’t support prosecution, he would have said that.
This whole thing is just goofy and weird, but the fact that the leader of the Trump supporters in the Senate is trying to have Trump imprisoned shows that the US government is too far gone to be saved.
McConnell is himself married to a spy from the ROC.
Again: does this reflect the views of his constituents?
Here’s the thing: with the Democrats, their voters at least agree with them. You can talk about how they’re all just brainwashed by the media, and that’s very true, but they do actually support mass censorship, forced vaccination, World War III with Russia to force children in the Donbass to do anal sex, and so on.
Meanwhile, that rat DeSantis is calling for open war with Russia.

The majority of normal people in this country are not geniuses. They need leaders. What the media and the establishment does is decapitate their leadership and then plug in people who agree with the establishment to be their pretend leaders.
It’s not sustainable.
