Iran Says They’re Not Responsible for Jordan Attacks

The US says they’re not responsible for the actions of the Ukraine, so I don’t see how Iran can possibly be held responsible for the actions of allied militias in Iraq.

The Ukraine wouldn’t even exist as a country if it wasn’t for them being propped up by the US, whereas these militias would exist even if Iran didn’t exist at all.

RT:

Tehran was not involved in the drone attack on a US base in Jordan which left three service members dead and more than 30 wounded, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said on Monday.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq – an umbrella group for Islamist Shia militias – claimed responsibility for the strike on the outpost known as Tower 22, not far from the border with Jordanian-Syrian border.

President Joe Biden said the attack was carried out by “radical Iran-backed militant groups,” while many US politicians blamed Tehran directly. UK Foreign Minister David Cameron similarly pointed to the Islamic Republic, urging it to “de-escalate in the region.”

“As we have clearly stated before, the resistance groups in the region are responding to war crimes and genocide,” Kanaani said. “They do not take orders from the Islamic Republic of Iran. These groups decide and act based on their own principles and priorities as well as the interests of their country and people.”

A Pentagon spokesman – who, interestingly, appears to be from some Islamic country – said Monday that the US has no evidence Iran ordered this attack.

Attacking Iran would not stop Shia militias in Iraq from attacking US bases in the region. If anything, it would make the situation much worse for these Americans occupying these countries.

Instead, we should be asking why it is that America has all of these bases scattered throughout the Middle East. They certainly are not “keeping the peace.” They constantly start wars.

As far as anyone can tell, the entire purpose of these Americans in these bases is to serve as sitting ducks to be attacked and then have those attacks be used as a justification for escalation.

The issue which might be worth considering, however, is that Iran doesn’t seem to be bothered by the proposition of an escalation.

It seems to me that a US war with Iran would lead to the biggest defeat in US history. We’re watching a group of morons ring the death knell of the empire.

If the US blows up the Middle East, why shouldn’t Russia and China escalate, while all of the American resources are tied up in a different massive war?

Personally, I support the death knell of this Anal Empire, so it doesn’t really matter much to me either way.

As of right now, Blinken doesn’t seem to be implying he’s starting a war. Instead, he’s talking like a fag.

But there are other morons pushing for the attack.

So who knows what’s going to happen?

No one, actually. Including the people making the decisions.
