Jack Lashes Out at Twitter Board Over Anti-Elon Plot

Jack Dorsey is now speaking out against the plot by the Twitter board to prevent Elon Musk from buying the company and taking it private.

There was a thread started by Garry Tan, commenting on the way the board had caused Twitter to lose huge amounts of money by cockblocking the Elon agenda.

In the thread, Jack agreed that the board has been at the heart of all of the dysfunction at the company from the beginning.

Jack also agreed that the board was killing the company.

Jack was asked about whether or not he is allowed to make these comments (given that he is still technically a member of the board), and he said no.

Jack can come out and say he thinks it’s a good idea for Musk to take over the company. I have said from the beginning that I never believed Jack wanted the company to become what it became, and he recently said as much himself.

But no one cares what Jack Dorsey thinks. This isn’t about the direction of the company and it isn’t about money – it is about censorship. Keeping Twitter heavily censored is the single most important thing in the world to the people who control the world.

As things stand right now, we’re still waiting for news. The rumor is that Musk wants to bring on partners to help him with the buyout, due to the “poison pill” that the board adopted to prevent one person from buying the whole thing out.

He hasn’t confirmed that, and it’s speculated that he might come back with a completely different offer.

During his recent TED interview, Musk said that there is a “Plan B” if Twitter successfully cockblocks him.

Frankly, it looks like Musk is just going to end up in prison at this point.

Twitter is not worth much money, but it is nonetheless arguably the single most important company on earth.

At this point, Musk has already gone too far to turn back.

I don’t see how this can end well for him.
