Project Veritas Finally Banned from Twitter, James O’Keefe Allowed to Keep Personal Account

Banning people for reporting on people being banned is an alpha move.

Jack Dorsey is alpha.

CNN is also alpha for working to get people banned and then reporting that they were banned because they are “controversial.”

I will say that it is frustrating to me that they won’t just call it “censorship.”

CNN:

Twitter permanently banned an account on Thursday belonging to Project Veritas, a conservative group founded by controversial activist James O’Keefe.

The decision followed what a Twitter spokesperson described to CNN Business as repeated violations of the platform’s policies prohibiting sharing — or threats of sharing — other people’s private information without consent.

This used to be called “doing journalism” and the people giving the information used to be called “whistleblowers.”

However, in the modern social landscape, the rich and powerful have special protections, which makes it illegal to report on their behaviors.

Twitter declined to say what specific tweets may have triggered the enforcement action. But in a post on Project Veritas’s public Telegram channel Thursday afternoon, the group said the suspension occurred after it published a video in which Project Veritas accosted Facebook VP of Integrity at his home.

Again, “accosting” used to be called “interviewing.”

There is indeed a pattern to this new language system. They just rename things that used to be normal, and considered good, with bad words. Just so, things that used to be considered bad are given new words that imply these things are good (i.e., sodomy is now “love”).

“The tweet in question arose when asking for comment from Facebook’s VP of Integrity about censorship,” Project Veritas said on its Telegram channel. “Project Veritas is appealing this decision, as no privacy was violated.”

Twitter also confirmed that O’Keefe’s personal account had been locked temporarily for violating the same policy, and that O’Keefe would be required to remove the violative content before regaining permission to tweet.

At time of writing, O’Keefe’s account has been restored.

He posted about the banning of the Veritas account, and the ordeal involving his personal account.

He also posted this.

“CNN cries out ‘interviewing powerful people is doxing’ as they show up at random grandmas’ houses and accuse them of being Russians.”

It’s hard to really know what to say about this stuff at this point.

Everyone who disagrees with any aspect of the system is being banned from everything. The goal, clearly, is to create an absolute consensus, where everyone on earth agrees with the views of the ruling elite, and anyone who refuses to go along with that is going to be silenced.

For whatever reason, they’re continue to roll this out at a steady pace, banning a few new people every week. I don’t know why they don’t just ban everyone at once, but presumably, they’ve run this through their simulations and they think it is better to do it slowly.

I guess it is a psychological thing, where people continue to believe there is some hope, even though there obviously is no hope.

It’s going to be interesting when everyone is banned from social media and they start doing what they did to me – blocking the backbone services, stealing domains, and so on. I am excited to see how people respond to that.
