tfw someone on Facebook says they don’t believe in Hitler’s homicidal masturbation machines.
Wait, I thought Justin Trudeau got arrested and imprisoned for dressing up like a black guy at a Halloween party in the 80s?
He’s still Prime Minister of Canada?
How did I not know that?
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, recently made infamous over resurfaced blackface photos, has instructed his ministers to create new legislation aimed at tackling “hate speech” on social media.
The mandate letter, sent to Canada’s Minister of Heritage, calls for legislation to be drawn up imposing “significant penalties” on social media companies that do not remove so-called hate speech within 24 hours.
The letter singles out “hate speech” for special attention, before moving on to other items like child exploitation and terrorism.
Stop people saying mean things first.
Then he will figure out child sex trafficking and terrorism.
From the letter:
Create new regulations for social media platforms, starting with a requirement that all platforms remove illegal content, including hate speech, within 24 hours or face significant penalties. This should include other online harms such as radicalization, incitement to violence, exploitation of children, or creation or distribution of terrorist propaganda.
Of course, child trafficking and terrorism won’t ever come up. It’s all about stopping people from talking about Jews. That’s the only thing these people care about.
When I was systematically banned from every single American web service, I documented that these same companies that were banning me were hosting pedophile meet-up forums and ISIS recruitment sites.
This is because Jews are behind pedophilia promotion and ISIS. They don’t want those things shut down. They want to shut down the people saying they’re behind those things.
Canada is doing what Europe did, threatening fines against these companies for “hate speech.” What it does is give the social media sites cover to just ban everyone. They have a perfect excuse.
Earlier this year, the UK introduced the same thing Trudeau is introducing this week.
Forbes, April 8, 2019:
The UK has proposed a new set of regulations for social media companies that would include fines, site blocks and prosecution of senior management for companies that fail to protect their users.
In a white paper published today, the government proposes setting up a regulator to police online platforms with serious penalties if they fail to remove violent content ‘expeditiously’.
The regulator will initially be funded by industry, but the government says it is considering setting up an industry levy to make it sustainable in the long term.
…
The proposals cover a range of online material, including terrorist content, child sex abuse, revenge porn, hate crimes, harassment and the sale of illegal goods. Also included are rather more grey areas of the law, such as cyber-bullying, trolling and the spread of fake news.
But you know what the British Commonwealth really needs to cut down on, don’t you?
Hat speech.
