Two mortar rounds hit the Iraqi capital’s Green Zone Saturday and two rockets slammed into a base housing US troops, security sources said, a day after a deadly American strike.
The precision drone strike outside the Baghdad airport on Friday killed Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani, top Iraqi paramilitary chief Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and a clutch of other Iranian and Iraqi figures.
In Baghdad, mortar rounds on Saturday evening hit the Green Zone, the high-security enclave where the US embassy is based, security sources said.
I think it’s fair to assume this is all going to go perfectly smoothly, and we’ll be in a war with Iran in a few days.
It’s time to start addressing the sexism of the draft.
Nancy Pelosi claims to be a feminist, but instead of addressing the sexism of the draft, she is supporting terrorism and fighting against democracy and human rights.
What I think is that for at least the first 10 years of the Iran war, men shouldn’t be allowed to fight. It should only be women that are allowed. After all, every war in history was only men – and we have to correct that grave historical injustice.
How are we ever going to elect a female president if we can’t even stage an all-female military invasion of a Moslem country?
