Macron Says He Won’t Go to Kiev for a Photoshoot, Suggests EU Not Doing Anything to Solve Ukraine Problem [UPDATE]

UPDATE:

Macron is refusing to go along with the cartoonish “genocide” claims made by Zelensky and Biden.

RT:

French President Emmanuel Macron declined to join his US counterpart Joe Biden in describing the actions of the Russian military in Ukraine as “genocide.” Verbal attacks would not help further peace in Ukraine, he said, in an interview with France 2 television on Wednesday.

Biden appeared on Tuesday to endorse Kiev’s claims that the goal of the Russian attack was to exterminate the Ukrainian people.

French President Emmanuel Macron declined to join his US counterpart Joe Biden in describing the actions of the Russian military in Ukraine as “genocide.” Verbal attacks would not help further peace in Ukraine, he said, in an interview with France 2 television on Wednesday.

Biden appeared to endorse Kiev’s claims that the goal of the Russian attack was to exterminate the Ukrainian people on Tuesday.

“Your family budget, your ability to fill up your tank, none of it should hinge on whether a dictator declares war and commits genocide half a world away,” he said in a speech in Iowa, referring to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. Biden had previously called the Russian leader a “war criminal” and stated that the man “cannot remain in power.”

When asked about the characterization during the interview, Macron said he “would be careful with such terms” and said the peoples of Ukraine and Russia were “brothers.”

Maybe Macron is just embarrassed to be associated with something so childish and clownlike.

“Genocide” is a word with a specific meaning. Even if you believed in the atrocity hoaxes – which I don’t think any serious person believes in – it’s not “genocide.”

The Ukraine conflict has the lowest civilian-to-soldier death toll of any conflict in modern military history. Putin is losing soldiers to prevent civilian deaths. No serious analyst could deny that.

If he wanted to “genocide” the Ukrainians, he could just start dropping bombs on city blocks. It’s not hard to do.

Original article follows.

I’ve complained several times about the fact that RT has, over the last six months to a year, increasingly started using clickbait titles that don’t tell you what the story is about.

I suggested that they probably did this because they couldn’t share links on social media, so the majority of their page views come from people typing in “RT.com” and clicking articles. Some millennial “marketing expert” must have come in and said that they needed to start using clickbait titles to increase the number of articles people click, in order to increase page rank. Therefore, titles that are structured like “one weird trick” advertisements.

When I read “Macron won’t follow Kiev fashion,” I thought: did he just announce he’s not going to wear Adidas track suits and newsboy caps?

I mean, that’s what flashed through my mind when I saw the headline this morning.

But no.

The professional headline, on a professional news website, should have been “Macron Says He Won’t Go to Kiev for a Photoshoot, Suggests EU Not Doing Anything to Solve Ukraine Problem.” Then you get the story, and you don’t have to click the headline. That might be enough information for you. For a lot of people, that is enough information on this story.

People don’t like these clickbait article titles. Even if they are successfully returning more clicks, it’s not a good long term strategy. RT should stop doing this. I know some of you people reading this know some editors at RT. Please tell them to stop doing this.

If you email them, include this as an attachment:

It will strengthen the impact. Russians love LotR. Russia is a country where working class people actually still read books, and I would guess that Tolkien is ranked among their favorite non-Russian authors.

Anyway, I know you readers want more than just the headline, and the article itself is very straightforward and clearly worded. Along with having a more honest slant, RT is typically much higher quality than Reuters or AP, which is why these clickbait headlines are such a blight.

RT:

French President Emmanuel Macron has said that he won’t visit Kiev in order to “just make a diplomatic visit” or follow the “fashion” set up by some other Western politicians.

“I am ready to do anything, to go to Kiev or to another Ukrainian city. But, I want it to be useful,” he told BFM TV late on Monday. Macron is currently in the middle of a high-stakes domestic election campaign.

“I would only do it to trigger something new, a new process, so I want it to be useful,” he stressed, adding that he would not come to Ukraine just to follow the “fashion” of going to Kiev. At the same time, he welcomed the visits of other leaders as it demonstrated “European solidarity” with Ukraine.

Kiev and its northwestern suburb of Bucha have become hotspots for top European politicians since Ukrainian authorities accused Russia of carrying out the mass-killing of civilians in the area. The location has been visited by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and the top EU diplomat Josep Borrell, as well as British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer.

Yes, it’s a top vacation spot now. Massacre tourism.

And yet, a visit by a team of independent investigators was blocked by the UN.

As we reported, Zelensky came out and publicly stated that some Ukrainian leader – whose name he did not reveal – asked him for proof that Bucha was not a staged hoax. Zelensky said this in order to imply it was an outrage that anyone would ever ask him for evidence of his atrocity claims. It seems to me that announcing this would have the reverse effect, but okay – he’s a weird guy and he does definitely appear to habitually use cocaine.

He clearly used cocaine in that clip. Otherwise he would just blow his nose, instead of sniffing like that. There are many such clips.

(He was/is an actor, and everyone is aware that cocaine use is very popular among actors, as it is effectively a performance enhancing drug for that profession. That’s something that I could analyze, but it is sort of self-explanatory how a confidence-boosting stimulant would help you maintain a character role, and also help with the long hours actors often tend to work.)

I suggested that Macron was probably the most likely person who would have asked him for proof. Viktor Orban would be the most obvious, but I seriously doubt that Zelensky is taking Orban’s calls, after they’ve both publicly denounced each other so aggressively.

Remember that Macron, despite being a WEF “young leader,” was a Hail Mary play by the French establishment after all of their preferred candidates failed and they needed someone to beat Le Pen. He has always been something of a wildcard. Probably not due to any kind of personal moral imperative, but just because he’s a weirdo.

The guy started having sex with his teacher when he was a teenager and she was in her 30s. Granted, a fair number of teenagers do this – but they generally do not go on to marry the old bitch.

This is an extremely bizarre act, by an extremely bizarre person.

He’s consistently made statements that resulted in people on the right being like “is this guy secretly based”?

The answer is: no, he is just very weird.

There is something abnormal going on in his brain.

Please note that the black with the doo-rag took his shirt off during the meeting. The room was clearly very hot, as you can see Macron has removed his jacket and is seriously sweating through his shirt.

That photoshoot is one of my favorite things that’s ever happened, but I really wish Macron would have taken his shirt off, to show that he was really, really down with the niggas. You can tell he goes to the gym, there was no good reason not to take his shirt off.
