Michigan: Democrat Charged with Harassing and Threatening Pro-Trump Election Official

Federal charges for threatening an election official aren’t even considered important enough to be covered by the national media. If you’re not reading the Daily Stormer, or for some reason browsing through local Michigan news, you don’t know that this is happening.

MLive:

A New Hampshire woman is facing federal charges for allegedly threatening the chair of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers through a series of text messages that included graphic photos of a mutilated corpse.

Katelyn Jones, a 23-year-old former Olivet resident who now lives in Epping, New Hampshire, admitted to the FBI that she threatened Republican board member Monica Palmer because she felt Palmer was interfering with the presidential election. Jones is charged with transmitting threats of violence through interstate commerce and faces up to 20 years in federal prison, and a fine of up to $250,000, if convicted.

“The allegations in this case should make all of us disgusted,” U.S. Attorney Matthew Schneider said in a statement. “There is simply no place in Michigan, or in the United States, for chilling threats like this to people who are simply doing what they believe is correct.”

The Wayne County Board of Canvassers received national attention when Palmer and another Republican board member declined to certify results of the Nov. 3 election, citing unproven allegations of voter fraud touted by President Donald Trump and his allies. Both Republicans agreed to vote to certify results in exchange for an audit of Wayne County results, but Palmer later signed an affidavit saying she wanted to rescind her vote.

Several Wayne County residents accused Palmer of racism during the public comment portion of the Nov. 17 meeting, accusing her of wanting to discredit votes cast in the majority-Black city of Detroit. Aggressive comments directed at Palmer quickly began to circulate online, where Twitter users posted her personal information.

A criminal complaint and FBI affidavit released by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan show Palmer faced harassment one day after the Wayne County Board of Canvassers meeting.

Palmer received multiple threatening text messages from a phone number with a (269) area code, used by residents in Southwest Michigan. The FBI affidavit shows Jones called Palmer a “disgusting racist b****” and a “terrorist.”

Messages also included two graphic photos of a “bloody, deceased, nude, mutilated woman,” followed by a photo of Palmer’s daughter.

“F****** with our elections is TERRORISM, and us Americans clearly don’t tolerate terrorist so yes you should be afraid, your daughter should be afraid and so should (your husband),” one of the threatening texts read.

Imagine this level of vitriol over something that, in the end, doesn’t not affect this woman’s personal life.

There are no real world costs to any liberal if Donald Trump wins.

So where does this energy come from?

Demonic possession?

Threatening messages were also sent to Palmer’s Instagram page on the same day from a user named “_etfere.” The user posted Palmer’s address, phone number and husband’s phone number and encouraged other users to leave Palmer messages “or for more fun stop by their house.”

The user also threatened Palmer’s daughter, writing “Hmmm I’d be a shame if something happened to your daughter at school.”

Law enforcement officials determined the text messages and Instagram posts came from the same person due to the similarity of the threats and phrases used. Police used records associated with the Instagram account to identify Jones and found evidence connecting the phone number to her mother’s home in New Hampshire.

The FBI conducted surveillance at Jones’ mother’s house on Dec. 10 and executed a search warrant on Dec. 22. Jones was found at the home and admitted to agents that she was responsible for the threatening messages.

Can you imagine that this is what a normal middle class white woman was forced to deal with, simply for standing up to the Democrats pushing this fraud?

Monica Palmer

These people are just completely out of control.

Frankly, I don’t understand how it is just one woman being charged.

At least a dozen people were on video threatening Monica Palmer. We collected some of those videos in an article.

This is yet another thing getting swept under the rug. The scale of the rug-sweeping is actually staggering.
