US President Joe Biden has labeled his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, a “dictator,” claiming Beijing was humiliated after one of its weather balloons accidentally strayed into American airspace earlier this year.
Biden discussed the row over the balloon at a fundraiser in California on Tuesday, suggesting the incursion was unintentional, even while stating that the craft was designed for espionage. He said the mishap blindsided Chinese officials, including Xi.
That is Biden mixing up internal information with the public narrative, which is sort of hilarious.
Internally, the Pentagon would have to say “it’s obviously a weather balloon, because there is no such thing as a ‘spy balloon.'”
“The reason why Xi Jinping got very upset, in terms of when I shot that balloon down with two box cars full of spy equipment in it, was he didn’t know it was there,” Biden said. “That’s a great embarrassment for dictators. When they didn’t know what happened. That wasn’t supposed to be going where it was. It was blown off course.”

While Washington has repeatedly described the device as a “spy balloon,” Beijing maintains it was a civilian airship used to gather meteorological data, and that it floated off course by mistake.
The balloon triggered anxiety for US officials, with the military firing on several other objects spotted in American skies soon after the first incident. Biden later revealed that those craft were “most likely” weather balloons, while the Pentagon noted that a radar adjustment had led it to misidentify the objects.
Biden’s remarks to donors came just one day after Secretary of State Antony Blinken concluded a visit to Beijing, where he held talks with Xi and other senior Chinese officials. The trip was initially scheduled for February, but was postponed following the spat over the balloon.

Immediately after this high level meeting, Brandon comes out to insult the China leader.

Nothing translates directly to Chinese, so the term “dictator” probably sounds like “very bad leader, wily monkey engaging in unfriendly gamesmanship of an anti-competitive nature.”

On Wednesday, speaking at a regular press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning described the remarks as “extremely absurd,” adding that they “seriously violated China’s political dignity.” She said that such statements also violate diplomatic etiquette and contradict basic facts.
“It is an open political provocation,” Mao stressed.

I didn’t agree with Tucker Carlson doing it, because it isn’t really good analysis at all, given that Brandon is in fact just a frontman for Jews.
Nonetheless, he is the head of state in America, and his Justice Department is prosecuting the man who is his main political opponent in the middle of an election, so from a foreign perspective, and on paper, he looks like a dictator. He is certainly operating with dictatorial powers.
If China said it, Tucker would probably come out and say the reverse, and defend Brandon. He’s made it clear he believes the Chinese – people on the other side of the world – are a much bigger threat to America than the Democrat Party.
But China never does tit-for-tat in the insult game.
They just want to be polite and make money.
