Pelosi Says Donald Trump Doesn’t Care That People are Dying, Lindsey Graham is Outraged

It’s so tiresome to hear about politicians being outraged by things other politicians said.

It really does just come across like pro-wrestling trash talk.

There is no weight to anything any of these people say, ever.

The Hill:

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Sunday railed against Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) after she said President Trump’s response to the coronavirus outbreak was having deadly consequences.

“She’s blaming the president of the United States for people dying because of the way he’s led the country,” Graham, a vocal Trump ally, said on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” “That’s the most shameful, disgusting statement by any politician in modern history.”

Speaking earlier on CNN, Pelosi said Trump’s lack of aggressive action was having severe effects throughout the United States. She said Trump’s initial downplaying of the disease and his delay in coordinating a response proved to have “deadly” impacts.

“His denial at the beginning was deadly. His delaying of getting equipment … to where it is needed is deadly,” Pelosi said, stressing that social distancing requirements should remain intact as states attempt to slow the rapid spread of the disease.

Meanwhile in reality, what was actually happening in early February was that Trump was accused of being in a “racist panic” over the virus.

Now it’s that he didn’t do enough to block the Chinese.

The U.S. had confirmed more than 125,000 cases of the novel coronavirus as of Sunday afternoon, according to a Johns Hopkins University database, the most worldwide. The disease has so far accounted for more than 2,000 deaths.

Asked for her thoughts on the Trump administration’s consideration of relaxing social distancing requirements in certain parts of the U.S., Pelosi emphasized that the nation should be “taking every precaution.”

“As the president fiddles, people are dying. We just have to take every precaution,” she said.

We seem to be maybe mixing metaphors here.

Or something.

Graham accused Pelosi of being the “the first politician to blame another politician for people dying,” claiming that the pandemic had brought out the “best of America from our citizens.”

He also slammed Pelosi and other Democratic lawmakers over the goals they laid out for the mammoth stimulus package Congress approved last week.

This is the same Speaker of the House who held up the bill in the Senate for days because she wanted same-day voting. She wanted carbon neutrality for the airlines,” Graham said. “She is the one that held up the package in the Senate for days. … So it’s the most shameful, disgusting thing I have heard yet, and it needs to stop.”

It’s of course true that she held up the bill because of a bunch of crazy global warming bullshit she wanted in it. Among other things.

But no one cares.

At least Donald Trump’s response was funny. He called her “a sick puppy.”

Which is not a very accurate description.

Pelosi is like an ancient vampire in dog years.

People keep claiming that this is the last hurrah of the boomers, and that by 2024, we’ll finally have some Gen X politicians (young men in their mid-fifties) stepping to the front. But they are sorely mistaken. None of these people are ever going to retire and there is no evidence they are ever going to die.

And the problem is, no one younger than a boomer has any kind of ambition to get rich being a totally corrupt politician, as boomers are the only ones this stupidly obsessed with money in a post-scarcity society.

What I want politicians to talk about is how exactly we are going to structure a society where everyone is locked in their homes and the police raid you for talking to other people.

Someone needs to explain it.

Because I have to admit, I am intrigued.

Images of completely empty streets across the entire planet satisfies me on a deep psychological and spiritual level.

I think we can use robot-powered trucks to deliver people food in order to close the so-called “supermarket loophole” that is allowing citizens to escape their homes under the excuse of purchasing food.

We need to make absolutely sure no one ever leaves their home under any circumstances, ever again.

I would also like it if politicians would discuss the recent secret arrest of the pedophile leader Tom Hanks.
