But the fact remains: unrepentant sinners, who commit the worst sin and are proud of it, are being blessed in churches all over the world.
And, most people think the Catholic Church is actually performing gay marriages, because that is what the headlines imply and that is what it looks like in the pictures.
This is all absurd.
Pope Francis on Friday defended a Vatican document on blessings for same-sex couples but said they were not an approval of a lifestyle the Church sees as potentially sinful but of individuals seeking to get closer to God.
It was the second time in as many weeks that Francis sought to clarify the Dec. 18 declaration, which caused widespread debate in the Church, with bishops in some countries refusing to let their priests implement it. He first did so in an Italian television interview on Jan. 14
His latest comments were in an address to members of the Vatican’s doctrinal department. Its head, Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandez, has given a spate of interviews to clarify the intent of the document, known by its Latin title Fiducia Supplicans (Supplicating Trust).

The pope said that while “moral perfection” was not required of people seeking such blessings, they were not intended to justify a relationship the Church considers irregular.
“When a couple comes forward spontaneously to ask for them, one does not bless the union, but simply the people who together have requested it. Not the union, but the persons,” Francis said.

That was already possible.
Any homo could, from the beginning of the Church history, repent of his homo ways and get a blessing from a priest.
Now, homos go in together, flaunting the fact that they are unrepentant, and get a blessing.
This isn’t complicated.
All of the rules of the Church have now been altered, and they can keep saying “oh we’re not blessing sin, we’re just making it look like we’re doing that, because for some reason even though we don’t want to do that, we want people to think we’re doing that. But we’re not, actually.”
Regardless of all of the mental gymnastics: blessing unrepentant sinners is new. That was never done before. That is the core of the matter. Francis fundamentally altered the core precepts of repentance.
Now the cocksucker is defending journalists who are getting replaced by AI.

Are journalists known for being good Christian supporters of the Church?
Why does he constantly defend the enemies of Christ while condemning true Christians?
