On Monday, President Trump did sign the thing.
However, there was actually another thing – Trump has sided with Democrats for a new bill giving more money to the people.
Of course, the Republicans have aligned against this bill, because they think all of the money on earth should go to Jeff Bezos and Israel.
Yes: in at least several ways, Republicans are actually worse than Democrats.
Republicans will likely block Democrats’ attempts to have the Senate follow the House in boosting stimulus payments for most Americans to $2,000, even though President Donald Trump backs the bigger checks.
Forty-four House Republicans joined 231 Democrats on Monday to pass a bill increasing the payments from the $600 in the pandemic relief legislation Trump signed on Sunday. His surprise demand last week for bigger payments put Republicans in a bind after they resisted anything higher than $600 during the drawn out negotiations on the original bill. Democrats were quick to use that as a pressure point.
“The House and the President are in agreement: we must deliver $2,000 checks to American families struggling this Holiday Season,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a tweet, calling on the Senate to pass the higher payments.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell hasn’t said whether the Senate would take up the House bill, attempt to vote on a different one that would also increase direct payments or simply ignore the issue. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer said he’ll seek unanimous consent to pass the House bill on Tuesday. But the move is expected to draw an objection from a Republican, effectively shutting down the effort.
Much depends on whether the president moves on from the issue or uses it to attack Senate Republicans.
He has expressed anger at McConnell and other GOP leaders for failing to back his quixotic attempt to overturn the election results. Now that the $2,000 checks issue is in the Senate, Trump could take to social media to draw it continued attention to it and try to pressure Republicans to take action on the bill.
And that my friends is how you use the word “quixotic” in a sentence.
Yes, this is what is happening: the Republicans are aligning themselves against the people.
It is not as if they are 100% against all spending – they approved all of this insane money to all of these foreign countries, especially Israel, which got the most money. But basically, every other country on earth got money.
But they are coming in, saying “no money for you, goyim! You have to suffer in poverty! This is your lot – to be an eternal peasant!”
Mind you: $2,000 isn’t going to save anyone’s life after their entire life has been destroyed by this lockdown. It just might let them feel safe for a month or two, as everything continues to fall apart around them.
Also mind you: the government has already printed so much money, that it literally makes zero difference if they print this much more.
The most important thing for you to mind: the Republicans sat by quietly whilst the Democrats fomented this coronavirus lockdown agenda onto the people. In many cases, Republicans were some of the most active supporters of the hoax.
The government created this situation. Now, the GOP is saying “it’s not the government’s responsibility to fix this situation.”
Just try to wrap your head around that mindset, and then ask yourself: is this a real mindset, or is it just a way for the government to further hurt the people?
I think we all know the answer.
Probably, the individual Republicans themselves like the idea of looking down on you, the peasant, and mocking your suffering.
But bigger than that: they are part of a larger agenda to destroy America. They don’t understand or care about the details. They just do as they are told by the big money Jews.
