This is probably made up, or he said it as a joke.
Though it is also true that a woman can’t win a presidential election in America. At least not yet. We just aren’t that far gone.

The stakes were high when Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren met at Warren’s apartment in Washington, DC, one evening in December 2018. The longtime friends knew that they could soon be running against each other for president.
The two agreed that if they ultimately faced each other as presidential candidates, they should remain civil and avoid attacking one another, so as not to hurt the progressive movement. They also discussed how to best take on President Donald Trump, and Warren laid out two main reasons she believed she would be a strong candidate: She could make a robust argument about the economy and earn broad support from female voters.
Sanders responded that he did not believe a woman could win.
The description of that meeting is based on the accounts of four people: two people Warren spoke with directly soon after the encounter, and two people familiar with the meeting.
After publication of this story, Warren herself backed up this account of the meeting, saying in part in a statement Monday, “I thought a woman could win; he disagreed.”
That evening in 2018, Sanders expressed frustration at what he saw as a growing focus among Democrats on identity politics, according to one of the people familiar with the conversation. Warren told Sanders she disagreed with his assessment that a woman could not win, three of the four sources said.
Sanders denied the characterization of the meeting in a statement to CNN.
This is basically just an attack on Bernie Sanders.
Even if he did say this, he wouldn’t have said it like “give up, bitch – you have no chance.” He would have said it in the same way that many said it after Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton – “America is sexist and they won’t tolerate a woman president.”
The Trump campaign has declared Bernie the frontrunner – and couched the battle in terms of Donald Trump’s desire to go to war with Iran and Bernie’s lack of a desire to do so.
President Trump’s re-election campaign is deeming Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders the indisputable frontrunner in the Democratic primary, as polling shows the Democratic socialist rising in Iowa just weeks before the caucuses kick off the nominating season.
“There is no mistaking that Bernie Sanders has to be considered the frontrunner now,” a senior Trump campaign official told Fox News on Monday.
The Des Moines Register over the weekend published the results of its latest poll showing Sanders leading in the state. That poll has Sanders with 20 percent, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 17 percent, former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg at 16 percent and former Vice President Joe Biden at 15 percent.
The official indicated the Des Moines Register poll, combined with Sanders’ response to the situation in Iran, is why there has been an uptick in attacks on Sanders from the president and his campaign.
“We try to engage with the Democratic candidates as they present themselves as opportunities,” the aide said. “It just so happened that for a long time Joe Biden was a gaffe a minute and we focused a lot on him. But this whole episode with Iran revealed just how dangerous [Sanders] would be if he were somehow to become president.”
Elaborating on Sanders, the official said: “He has shown himself to be an apologist for the Iranian regime and someone who’s first instinct is to appease states that support terrorism. It’s dangerous. Highlighting that was necessary.”
It will be very, very interesting to see how this unfolds, if Bernie is indeed the frontrunner.
I think we still need a few more polls and at least another week to know for sure. But the first primaries are coming up, and those tend to decide who the nominee is.
Bernie Sander’s volunteers are trashing Elizabeth “Pocahontus” Warren. Everybody knows her campaign is dead and want her potential voters. Mini Mike B is also trying, but getting tiny crowds which are all leaving fast. Elizabeth is very angry at Bernie. Do I see a feud brewing?

The media is against Bernie now, because they’re still hoping Biden will get the nomination. So they’re putting out stuff like this sexism story.
What will be most interesting is to see if the media sides with Bernie or Trump. It is quite possible that even if Bernie gets the nomination, much of the media will continue their current position against him.
With Trump’s collapsed popularity, it will pretty much end up being the media that decides the election. In a democracy, the media is supposed to decide the outcome of elections, it was simply that in 2016, the media didn’t understand the role the internet was playing in the election, and they lost control.
But now, virtually all of Trump’s supporters have been banned from the internet, and those that remain – such as Paul Joseph Watson – are going along with the narrative of the establishment media, which the internet is not particularly interested in.
In general, the internet is not particularly interested in Trump.
There is no wall and there isn’t going to be any wall and everyone knows it so Trump has simply stopped talking about his 2016 pillar promise.

Furthermore, most immigrants ever, infinity opioid deaths, and above all, this whole Israel First agenda – there just isn’t anything at all to get excited about for anyone who was really excited in 2016.
His base is now just evangelical kooks and orthodox Jews.
His only selling point to normal people is “at least I’m not a Democrat tho.”
He only won by 80,000 votes in 2016, and a lot more than 80,000 people have turned on him since then. I doubt that those that have turned on him will go vote for Bernie, but they might not bother voting at all.
Because Bernie isn’t into the whole identity politics thing, he doesn’t stir up the kind of visceral hatred that the other Democrat candidates stir up. At least not for anyone other than boomers.
And if the core dividing issue is “should we go to war with Iran to protect Iraq from Iranian influence?”, then Trump is going to have a really hard time.
Imagine the debates. Being about a war with Iran. And Trump trying to explain how that is good for America.
I do hope Bernie gets the nomination. Not because I necessarily prefer Bernie to Trump, but simply because it will be a lot more interesting.
