The Crippled Governor of Texas claims to stand for gun rights – this is yet another lie.
It was already legal to carry a gun in Texas, but this guy comes out and makes it double-legal?
Texans will soon be allowed to carry handguns without a permit, background check or training.
State lawmakers approved a controversial bill Monday that would lift some of the remaining gun-carry restrictions in the Lone Star state – and Gov. Greg Abbott has said he plans to sign it into law.
“This is a simple restoration of Texans’ constitutional right under the Second Amendment, a right of the people to keep and bear arms,” Sen. Charles Schwertner (R) said, according to the Texas Tribune.
The bill faced opposition from gun safety advocates as well as law enforcement groups, who said the changes to the law would put people in danger.
“Are you aware there are a large number of families on both sides of the aisle who are literally afraid of your legislation?” Texas state Sen. John Whitmire (D) said, according to the Tribune.
The crippled loser is just trying to distract from the fact that he will do NOTHING about immigration.
It is well within the power of this immobile maverick to close down the border of Texas, but he won’t do it. Instead, he comes out and says “well, how about I give you gun rights you already have???”
This is about open-carry, which is pretty much legal totally in every red state.
There were maybe municipalities in Texas where open carry was banned by municipal law. But, if anyone ever got arrested for that, they could file a lawsuit and obviously easily win.
But the leftist media comes in with the reach-around, acting like this is some big horrible thing, which reinforces the belief of stupid conservatives that Governor Limp Legs has done them some big favor.

McLaughlin explained that he’s spam-called the Limp Governor’s office for help with the crisis of invasive “migrants” and that Abbott has refused to even respond to him.
It is a plain fact: Abbott has the ability, as governor, to simply shut down the border completely.
But he won’t even talk about that.
Instead, the crippled sonovabitch is out there talking about the threat that free speech poses to the sickening Jews!
This half-man literally issued a statement – a video statement – saying he wants to shut down Gab because there are too many people on the site talking about Jews!

I would say “vote for someone else” – but you can’t! Due to the mass invasion policies of Greg “Help Me, I’ve Fallen and I Can’t Get Up” Abbott, there will never be another Republican Governor of Texas!
