I’m not feeling smug. Quite the opposite. I just wish that after I’ve been right this many times, so consistently, there wouldn’t be such extreme skepticism. I’ve never made any claim without fully explaining my reasoning.
Police have revealed they will fine Brits the first time they are caught without a face mask in the new national lockdown.
And anyone leaving home without a reasonable excuse will face the same zero-tolerance approach as officers pledge a crackdown on anyone flouting the strict rules.
Scotland Yard yesterday confirmed that it has instructed officers to enforce lockdown laws more “quickly” and they will accept fewer “reasonable excuses” in an effort to save lives.
It’s about saving lives.
Before coronavirus, no one ever died.
We have to go back to 2019 standards, where everyone lives forever.
The Metropolitan Police force warned people who leave their homes will be forced to explain themselves and people who breach lockdown will no longer be “reasoned with”.
The number of £200 fines in London is set to soar after the Met announced officers will be more “inquisitive” – carrying out stops to find out why people are out and about.
The force, the largest in England, announced that people committing “obvious, wilful and serious breaches” will no longer be given the benefit of the doubt.
And the Met said officers had been told to issues fines more quickly to anyone found flouting restrictions and not wearing a face mask.
A spokesman said: “Additionally, with fewer ‘reasonable excuses’ for people to be away from their home in the regulations, Londoners can expect officers to be more inquisitive as to why they see them out and about.
“Where officers identify people without a lawful reason to be away from home they can expect officers to move more quickly to enforcement.”
Met Police said it has instructed officers to issue £200 fines “more quickly” – having previously focused on “explaining, and encouraging”.

Home Secretary Priti Patel told Good Morning Britain today that police will be taking a tougher stance.
Ms Patel said: “The police have always taken firm and strong action when it comes to enforcement of coronavirus regulations.
“Over the Christmas period alone there were something like 800 fines issued for coronavirus breaches.
“The police will absolutely continue to be strong on enforcement, we are in a lockdown, we are back to where we were in spring last year.
“We are in such a situation right now that the need to be out and about will be very restricted, so you will see the police out and about and if you are out and about.
“And it’s inevitable you may see officers out and about and they may ask you for justification of why you are out and about, and if you are seen to be breaching the rules they will take enforcement action against you.
“And they may issue you with a fixed penalty notice.”

This is not only a dystopian nightmare, it’s more ridiculous than any single dystopian nightmare ever portrayed in science fiction.
Listen to me: if you don’t have any rights because of a virus, then you never had any rights to begin with. The entire concept of civil rights is that they are unconditional.
These people have permanently removed all of your rights, because of the flu. They do not care how many people this lockdown kills, they don’t care how many people are driven insane, they don’t care about how it is going to destroy the economy completely. That is, in fact, the point of all of this.
We should not continue to allow them to claim that they have moral authority here. They do not. What they are doing is destructive, and it is evil, and it is very straightforward. Even people who believe in the virus narrative (i.e., that it is something different than the flu) admit that the lockdowns cause more deaths than they prevent.
What the government is actually, literally saying is that it doesn’t matter how many people die, we have to stay in a constant lockdown, more or less forever, because it is somehow different if people die from the virus than if they die from the lockdown.
However, if we actually look at the numbers, we find that apparently, no one is dying from the virus who wouldn’t have already died from something else.
This is all just totally insane. I don’t know what else to say. The whole world has gone utterly insane.
It is no wonder that when you inflict this kind of lunacy on a society, forcibly, that you end up with things like the Capitol Storm, or the Nashville Bombing, or any of the other insanity going on. All of that stuff is going to increase. We are going to end up, eventually, at a 100% rate of insanity in society.
