Washington Put on Even More Extreme Lockdown Because of a Fire Somewhere Outside the City

They keep announcing all these weird things.

When you bring 25,000 soldiers into a small city, weird things start to happen, I’m sure.

But as far as I can tell, they’re purposefully creating weird headlines, in order to justify something weirder happening at the inauguration.

RT:

The US Capitol was locked down and inauguration rehearsals interrupted by an “exterior security threat,” as video footage showed smoke rising near the building. However, the fire turned out to be some distance away.

Rehearsals for Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony were interrupted on Monday by an “exterior security threat,” according to loudspeaker messages heard by witnesses. The nature of the “threat” was not immediately apparent, but the building was quickly locked down, with entry and exit prohibited, and people were urged to seek cover.

Video footage appeared to show smoke rising from behind the Capitol, before reportedly dissipating several minutes later.

The DC Fire Department stated afterwards that a fire had broken out on a nearby street, but was quickly extinguished. “This accounts for smoke that many have seen,” the department announced.

Emergency scanners suggested that the fire broke out at a homeless encampment several blocks from the Capitol. Police released a statement saying that the Capitol was locked down out of “an abundance of caution” following the fire. “There is no threat to the public,” the Secret Service announced afterwards.

The Capitol Police then said in a statement that the lockdown had been lifted and the nearby fire contained.

I’ve always been anti-violence, I’ve always preached anti-violence.

All I can really tell any of you is this: stay the hell away from DC, and if anyone tells you to go to DC or tells you they’re going to DC, stay the hell away from them, too.

The feds are OBVIOUSLY trying to set up some kind of debacle for the inauguration. I don’t know if it is going to happen, but they’re clearly pushing for it.
