The people have spoken and so it shall be

“I’ll just sit here quietly waiting for my poll.” -Andrew Anglin
The social media platform X will reinstate the account of the US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones after a poll of the site’s users backed his return, its owner, Elon Musk, has said.
“The people have spoken and so it shall be,” Musk posted in reply to a poll on Saturday on whether to reinstate the Jones account. Close to 2m votes were cast by the time the poll closed, with about 70% voting in favour of Jones’s return.
…
The platform formerly known as Twitter banned Jones and his website Infowars in 2018, saying that the accounts had violated its behaviour policies.
The ban came weeks after Apple, Alphabet’s YouTube, and Facebook took down podcasts and channels from Jones, citing community standards.
There’s never going to be a poll in which people vote against freedom of speech.
So the plan is clearly to not give Anglin a poll, because Anglin is the number one banned person for a reason.
The yipper Elon claims freedom of speech is meaningless if you don’t allow people you disagree with.
By the way – Anglin was apparently banned for masturbating to a picture of a guy’s wife. Although Twitter will not give the reason, that appears to have been the case.
Elon has not spoken on the rules of which pictures you are allowed to masturbate to on the site, but he allows porn, so it is absurd to suggest that no masturbation is allowed.
He cannot break the law

Yes, freedom of speech is otherwise meaningless
