Oh, Ireland.

Ireland, Ireland, Ireland.

What has become of you?

Life Site News:

Concerns about child safeguarding have been raised in the wake of a recent Trans Equality Network Ireland (TENI) event in the village of Falcarragh, Co. Donegal, with local police accused of trying to silence an activist opposed to the meeting.

TENI, an organization advocating for the normalization of transgenderism, held a supposedly “family friendly” event with BDSM fetishist Tara Hewitt on July 19th about “transitioning children,” raising eyebrows among community members.

Locals suspect Hewitt had not undertaken Garda (that is, Irish police) vetting, as would be expected before participating in an event focused on minors. Additionally, there were concerns about the exclusivity and appropriateness of the pre-registration only request, the age of the attending children, GDPR (Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation) compliance, and whether minors would be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.

Jennifer Kimmel, a local who exposed Hewitt’s tastes and activism online, was reported to the Irish police by trans activists who dismissed her child-safeguarding concerns with counteraccusations of “hate speech” and “upsetting people.”

Kimmel was visited by Gardaí (police officers) at her home the day after the transgender event. Officers reportedly warned her that she was “walking a fine line” and allegedly tried to silence her for raising issues related to child safety. Kimmel told one outlet that Gardaí lectured her about “being homophobic.”

Local sources say that, as a result, the community felt uneasy about violations of free speech and the Gardaí’s apparent disregard for child safety protocols.

Kimmel is said to have subsequently gone into hiding after being threatened online and by phone on multiple occasions by radical Trans activists.

Yeah, they will threaten you.

They’re not going to kill you though.

At least, that hasn’t happened yet.

Probably best to just hold your ground.
